Goreme House

Great stay! The location was perfect for exploring. We could see hot air balloons from the terrace-such a lovely view! The breakfast spread was awesome and had plenty of options. The staff was super friendly and helped us plan our activities.

Everything was perfect during 3 days, appreciated its magnificent location really close to the mosque, Turkey, and main shopping/eating places. Most of the staffs were extremely friendly. The standard queen room was beautiful, it had central heating, a personal safe, and multi-channel television.

What makes it worth it, and what doesn't

Excellent support from the manager during unexpected tour issues. The terrace provided fine views of the balloons, and the breakfast options were plentiful and delicious.

Some found noise disturbances from foot traffic late at night to be bothersome, particularly on lower floors.

I loved the cozy Standard Twin Room, and Okan helped us plan lovely adventures, like a scenic hike to Pigeon Valley.

The location was perfect for our family trip. We enjoyed a generous breakfast with a beautiful view of the hot air balloons every morning, and the service was professional and attentive. While the beds could have been slightly softer for my preference, the charming atmosphere more than made up for it.

The family atmosphere. The amazing breakfast with panoramic views was the perfect start to our days. We had amazing recommendations for activities and loved the adorable puppy around. The location was perfect for exploring and feeling safe as we walked around.

The mornings were good with Okan's mom's homemade breakfast with an amazing variety of traditional Turkish dishes. We especially loved seeing the hot air balloons from the terrace and enjoyed a scenic walk to the sunset viewpoint, only ten minutes away. Our grandson had a fantastic time, especially playing with Tafi, the adorable family puppy.

In my wife's opinion, improving the room temperature would be great for families with children.

The bed was super comfy, and it felt really cozy. The room temp was perfect at night, cool enough for the warm days. Only downside was that the acoustics weren't great, I could hear people walking around, especially in the mornings. But overall, it was nice.

Just a balanced option for strolling in Goreme, with really good value. The staff really helped me plan my balloon ride, lovely. Consider requesting a room on a higher floor to avoid noise disturbances.

Okan and his family. The views from the terrace were fine as we enjoyed breakfast each morning. Our kids loved playing with the adorable puppy while we hiked through Love Valley nearby.

My wife says that more space in the family room would be great.

Our group of two couples enjoyed a fantastic four-night stay. The location was ideal, perfect for our parents who are in their 70s. The family atmosphere here was so cute, with Okan and his family going out of their way to assist us. We loved the breakfast each morning, and the terrace provided fine views of the hot air balloons at sunrise.

We did experience some noise disturbances from people walking around in the mornings.
